About Me

Hi! It's nice to meet you. My name is Victor Davila and I'm super excited to officially start my teaching career! I've recently finished my student teaching at the Kingwood High School and West Lake Middle School Band programs in Humble ISD and received my Bachelors of Music Education from Baylor in December 2022. Currently, I teach masterclasses and trumpet lessons in both Galena Park ISD and Crosby ISD. I grew up in Galena Park ISD and was very involved in both band and choir activities before graduating from North Shore in 2018. I've always had a passion for teaching and would frequently spend my time after school and before rehearsals helping my classmates learn their music. After I graduated I still frequently helped teach the North Shore Marching Band during the summers. I'd regularly lead sectionals, assist as a field technician, and sometimes lead full brass rehearsals. During my time at Baylor I also taught trumpet lessons in the Waco area and served as an Undergraduate Assistant on the Baylor University Golden Wave Marching Band staff where I helped as a marching/ visual field techs and assisted with all related logistics. I'll always be thankful for the plethora of mentors that have invested in my education and have helped develop my love of teaching music. When I'm not teaching I enjoy watching sports, playing music, and hanging out with friends.
